Butterscotch-Cinnamon Pie (often simply Butterscotch Pie) is a consumable item found in Toriel's Home after taking a nap. It fully heals the protagonist's HP in an encounter. It is replaced by Snail Pie in Hard Mode.

Additional Uses

• Using the Butterscotch Pie during the fight against Asgore lowers his AT and DF.
• Using the Butterscotch Pie during the Lost Soul fight against Toriel and Asgore helps to return their memories more effectively than ACTing.

Trivia

• If the protagonist causes Toriel to go to her basement without going to sleep beforehand, they are unable to obtain the slice of Butterscotch Pie.
• Butterscotch Pie is one of the three items in Undertale that can fully heal the protagonist's HP in one turn, and does so with no unique conditions. Dog Salad can randomly fully recover HP, and Bad Memory can only fully heal the protagonist if they have 3 HP or less.
• In the True Pacifist Epilogue, most of the pie has been eaten by a Dog.
• This is the type of pie Asriel and the first human attempted to bake for Asgore. However, they accidentally added buttercup flowers as part of the recipe.
• The Butterscotch Pie's abilities versus Asgore can stack. However, this is not observable through normal gameplay as the item can only be obtained once.
